GENERAL INFORMATION

Venue

Hotel Taj Coromandel, Chennai

Meals

Lunch will be provided between 12.00 & 14.00 hours. Registration includes Inaugural and Gala dinners from 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm .

Official Language

The official language of the conference is English.

Weather

Chennai is pleasant in October with temperatures ranging from a maximum of 32°C to minimum of 24°C.

Visa

All overseas visitors will require a visa to visit India. The information may be obtained from Indian missions abroad. One should possess a valid national passport except in the case of Nepalese and Bhutanese nationals, who may carry suitable means of identification. Visitors are generally required to make an identification of their baggage and declaration of foreign currency in their possession.

Letter of Invitation

Invitation letters are available at DOWNLOAD CENTRE.However, this letter does not imply any financial support towards expenses for attending the conference, such as registration, travel and hotel accommodation or other expenses.

Transport

Buses to and from the conference venue will be arranged for the delegates from all Taj group of hotels. Detailed transport schedule will be available at the reception counter at the respective Taj hotels.

Accommodation

Delegates can make hotel room reservations at Taj group of hotels by filling and mailing the request form. Form available at DOWNLOAD CENTRE.

Exhibition

A Trade Exhibition will be held at the conference venue during the days of the conference and will exhibit Dermatological, Dermatosurgical, and allied products, Lasers and other instruments.

Confirmation and Receipt

A receipt and confirmation letter with registration number will be sent on receiving the registration form along with remittance. This receipt must be presented at the time of registration.

Spot Registration

Spot registration will be against cash payment only Registration on 16th October 2008 will be between 8:00 & 17:00 Hrs. On 17th October 2008 it will be from 8:00 to 12:00 Hrs only. There will be no registration on 18th October, 2008.
Conference Kits cannot be guaranteed to spot registrants.

Payment mode and refunds

  • Remittance by Demand Draft in favour of WCTD 2008 payable at Chennai.

  • Applications of P.G Students should be endorsed by concerned HOD.

  • If cancellation is confirmed before 30th September, 2008 , 50 % of the registration fee in INR will be refunded after the conference is over. However,amount towards postages will be deducted in addition.

Badges

The conference identity badge provided to all delegates should be worn at all time and all functions. Please note that on account of security reasons, entry will be denied to anyone not wearing the conference badge. All delegates are requested to kindly cooperate. Badges for delegates and the co- delegates will be different. Co-delegates and children will not be allowed to the scientific sessions.
